Mary Camilla "Camie" Ethridge ( born Mary Camille "Kamie" Ethridge ; born April 21, 1964 , Herford , Texas , USA ) is an American basketball player who is remembered for her performances at the student level . In 1986, she won the NCAA as part of the Texas Longhorns team. She played the role of point guard . As part of the national team, the United States became the champion of the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul , and also won gold medals at the 1986 World Cup in the USSR . Upon graduation, she entered the coaching staff of her Texas Longhorns home team. He is currently the head coach of the Washington State Cougars student team.
