Biography
Born in Chicago in the family of the Greek lawyer Evangelos Skliris. Great-grandfather Margaret was a regent of the Kingdom of Greece , and grandfather owned all the railways in this country. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Athens in 1913. The youngest of three daughters. At baptism, she received the name Margaret Louise Skliris. The family moved to San Francisco ( California ) when Margarita was four years old [2] .
At the age of seven, she began performing on the stage. Also in the early years became a model.
In 1939, it became Miss San Francisco and Miss California.
In 1944, she made her film debut, taking the stage name Marge Dean.
In 1964, having become disillusioned with roles in low-budget films, she left her acting career and went into business [1] .
Personal life
In the years 1939-1945 she was married to Hal Fisher, whom she divorced.
Since 1965, married to the Brazilian architect Felipe Alvarez.

Interesting Facts
In 1954, the president of the 20th Century Fox film studio, Spyros Skuras , who was Greek by birth, recommended Dean to director Michael Curtis for the role of Nefer in the movie “ Egyptian, ” but Bella Darvey had recently received her. At least once, Skuras was called Dean's lover, probably due to the fact that the actress met with his son Plato Skuras [4] [5] .
