Biography

  • Born in the city of Zolotonosha, now Cherkasy region.
  • Member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party since 1905, the Left Socialist Revolutionaries - since 1917.
  • Member of the First World War, corporal.
  • In February 1918 he formed a detachment of the Red Guard in Petrograd, which fought against the German invaders.
  • Since March 1918 he was an assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Western Revolutionary Front in the fight against counter-revolution.
  • Since May 1918, he has been managing the affairs of the Central Siberian Military Commissariat.
  • Since July 1918 - assistant, then deputy commander of the North Ural-Siberian Front, assistant commander of the 3rd Army of the Eastern Front.
  • Since April 1919 - assistant chief of staff of the 26th Infantry Division.
  • Since August 1919 - Head of the 26th Infantry Division.
  • Since October 1919 - Chief of Staff of the 26th Infantry Division.
