Balbus, Stephen

Stephen Balbus ( Steven Andrew Balbus , born November 23, 1953, Philadelphia, PA) is an American-British astrophysicist. Oxford (since 2012), and formerly a professor at the Paris Higher Normal School, a member of the NAS of the USA (2015) and the Royal Society of London (2016) [1] . In 1971 he entered the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who graduated as a bachelor of mathematics and physics.
