Research Interests
Ivanov’s pedagogical heritage is determined, firstly, by the development of a number of original didactic ideas for improving the lesson: this is the typology of the lesson, the development of a lesson system according to the curriculum, etc. He identifies such types of lessons as: 1. Introductory lessons; lessons of initial familiarization with the material; 2. Lessons in the formation of concepts, the establishment of laws, rules; 3. Lessons from the application of knowledge in practice; 4. Skills lessons (training); 5. Lessons of repetition and generalization; 6. Control lessons; 7. Mixed or combined lessons.
Secondly, his contribution to the development of pedagogical science is determined by the formation of a scientific direction in the theory of the lesson, which took shape in the Voronezh didactic school. [one]
