Friends. Part 1 - the first part of the second studio album of Russian rock vocalist and producer Sergei Garifullin, acting under the pseudonym " Gariwoodman ". It was released on April 10, 2018 [1] . The main purpose of the record was the discovery of new independent names in Russian rock [2] .

About the album
Funds for recording the album, as in the case of the first album , were raised as part of a crowdfunding project [3] . The main task of the disc is to introduce listeners to the new names of Russian rock. In support of the album, 3 singles were released, a clip for the song "Estelada", and concerts were also played as part of the "#Friendly Tour".
Cover
Cover design was done by Sergey Garifullin. The front side is based on a children's drawing. It depicts a cake - a symbol of fellow musicians who participated in the recording of the album. On the back, photographer Ivan Gubanov captured Gariwoodman, standing against a wall painted with graffiti in the colors of the cake.

From critics, the album received mostly positive reviews. Music journalist Anna Nikolayevskaya from EatMusic noted that in the new release, βGariwoodman took a very serious step to get out of the cohort of beginner little artistsβ [4] .
RockHit, in turn, emphasized that the material of the second album is fundamentally different from the first: βIt cannot be said that the new material is better or worse than the previous album. He is just different. β [5]
