Biography

In 1983 he graduated from the Kiev Automobile and Road Institute named after the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution (now the National Transport University ).

From September 1983 to August 1985 - Senior Engineer, Deputy Director of ATP 16562.

In August 1985, he transferred to the nomenclature position in the Komsomol - became the head of the organizational department, then the first secretary of the Komsomolsky district committee of the Komsomol of Ukraine in Kherson .

Business

In November 1989, he left the Komsomol job and began to engage in entrepreneurial activity.

During the privatization of the early 90s, using its Komsomol ties, it gains control of a number of state-owned enterprises in the Berislavsky district of the Kherson region. In particular, the Kamensky state farm plant founded in 1969, which is engaged in grape growing and wine production (now PJSC Kamensky), became the property of Nikolai Dmitruk. It also takes control of the Berislavsky bakery (now - LLC Berislav-Bread-Baking Plant).

Founds and becomes the direct manager of LLC DK ServiceStroy, Financial and Industrial Union, PE Tavria Blagosostoyanie and PPTF Garant.

Political Activities in Modern Ukraine

Leaving the CPSU in 1989, he joins the Socialist Party of Ukraine under the leadership of Oleksandr Moroz.

In 2010, he leaves the Socialist Party and joins the Party of Regions . On October 28, 2012, he ran for the Party of Regions in the single-mandate 184 constituency ( Berislav , Novaya Kakhovka ) and won [1] .

In 2014, he left the Party of Regions and for some time remained non-partisan. However, in September 2017, it enters the ranks of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc .

Scandals

In the summer of 2014, to protect the irrigated plantations from rains, Kamensky workers shot clouds from the haulm guns over the Berislavsky district, which caused a conflict with local farmers suffering from drought [2] .

In 2016, the State Treasury and the police established that the Khersonlift enterprise, owned by the wife of Nikolai Dmitruk - Elena Dmitruk, spent 31 million hryvnias allocated in 2015 for the repair of elevators. At the same time, some elevators, according to the documents considered to be repaired, did not work. Others - those who worked - were repaired earlier, but even in 2015, they wrote off money for repairs [3] .

In 2018, another scandal arose related to the elevator economy. According to the Unified Web Portal for Using Public Funds Є-data, from June 2016 to March 2018, Khersonlift LLC and PJSC Khersonlift received 20.9 million hryvnias from the Housing and Utilities Department of the Kherson City Council, for which only 11 elevators were repaired Tauride microdistrict of Kherson. Thus, according to journalists, during these 20 months Nikolai Dmitruk laundered 21 million hryvnias on corruption schemes related to the elevator economy [4] .
