Biography
He ended with a break at the Luzitsky Seminary (1873–1879; 1881–1883) and the Malostransky Gymnasium (1873–1879) in Prague . As a student in Prague, he took an active part in the activities of the Serboluga student fraternity “ Serbovka ”. He was the chairman of this organization (1877-1883). In 1875 he joined the cultural and educational organization " Mother of Serbia ." In the years 1879-1880 he served in Bautzen.
In 1884 he was ordained a priest. He served in Catholic parishes in Ralbitsy (1884), Dresden (1885–1888), Zeitendorf (1888–1889), Bautzen (1889–1893), and Bachon (1893–1910). In 1910 he retired. Until 1917 he lived in Zhitava and until 1927 in Bautzen.
He began to engage in literary activities as a student in Prague. In 1890 he published his first translations from Czech in the newspaper Serbske Nowiny . In 1884 he published in Bautzen a linguistic composition in German, Syntax der wendischen Sprache in der Oberlausitz .
He was buried near the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the village of Bachon , a commune of Gyod .
