Available in two body types - the Aurus Senat S600 sedan and the Aurus Senat Limousine L700 limousine ^[3] . Currently, the armored limousine Aurus Senat is the main official car of the President and Prime Minister of Russia. The name for the model was chosen by the name of the Senate Tower of the Moscow Kremlin ^[4] .

The development of the Aurus Senat car has been carried out since 2012 by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI in the department under the leadership of D. Pack as part of the Tuple project on creating representative cars for trips of the President of Russia. For the first time, the Aurus Senat limousine and sedan were presented to the general public during the inauguration ceremony of the President of Russia on May 7, 2018 ^[5] .

The Putin and Trump Summit in Helsinki on July 16, 2018 was the first foreign trip of the President of Russia, where Aurus cars were involved. Limousines, sedans and minibuses were pre-delivered to the capital of Finland by plane ^{[6] [7] [8]} .

Sedan Aurus Senat will take part in the filming of the film " Attraction 2 ", which will be released in 2020 ^[9] . Aurus Senat was presented at MIAS-2018 and the Geneva International Motor Show 2019. Three parade convertibles “Aurus-412314” were made on the basis of the Aurus-412300 Senat sedan for the Victory Parade ^[10] .

Aurus Senat is equipped with a hybrid powerplant. It consists of a gasoline turbo engine V8 4.4 of its own design, developing 598 hp.
