Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Dubna River, 17 km south-west from the center of the village of Krasnoye Flame and 30 km north-west from the city of Aleksandrov .
History
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Tiribrovsky volost of the Alexander district . In 1859 [2] there were 22 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 25 yards, in 1926 [4] - 49 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Ratkovsky village council of the Aleksandrovsky district , since 1941 - as part of the Assumption-Mukhanovsky village council of the Struninsky district , since 1965 - as part of the Aleksandrovsky district , since 1969 - as part of the Iskra village council , since 2005 - as part of the Krasnoplamensky rural settlement .
