Zaitsev, Fedor Sergeevich

Fedor Sergeevich Zaitsev (born 1963) is a mathematician , doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor at the faculty of the VMK of Moscow State University [1] .

Biography

He graduated from the 600th school of the Institute of Art Education of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences (1980). He graduated with honors from the faculty of the CMC of Moscow State University (1985) and the graduate school of the faculty of the CMC of Moscow State University (1988).

He defended his thesis "Modeling the kinetics of high-energy particles in a toroidal plasma" for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences (1988).

He defended his thesis "Mathematical modeling of kinetic processes with Coulomb interaction in toroidal plasma" for the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1997). He received the title of professor (2000) [2] .

He has been working at Moscow State University since 1988 at the Department of Scientific Research Automation of the Faculty of the VSC as an Assistant (1988–1994), Associate Professor (1994–1999), Professor (since 1999).

Laureate of them. I. I. Shuvalov (1996) [1] .

Research interests: mathematical modeling in plasma physics, computational mathematics, numerical methods, information technology, programming [3] . Major works: “Study of plasma electrical conductivity in spherical tokamak” (2004), “Mathematical modeling of toroidal plasma evolution” (2005), “Mathematical Modeling of Toroidal Plasma Evolution” (2014), “Mathematical modeling of electromagnetic and gravitational phenomena using the methodology of continuous mechanics Wednesday ”(co-author, 2016). Author of 7 books and 151 scientific articles [4] [5] .
