Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Dubna River, 16 km south-west of the village center of Krasnoye Flame and 21 km north-west of the city of Alexandrov .
History
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Tiribrovsky volost of the Alexander district . In 1859 [2] there were 22 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 20 yards, in 1926 [4] - 35 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Potopikhinsky village council of the Aleksandrovsky district , since 1941 - as part of the Tiribrovsky village council of the Struninsky district , since 1965 - as part of the Aleksandrovsky district , since 1976 - as part of the Iskra village council , since 2005 - as part of the Krasnoplamensky rural settlement .
In 1965, the abolished Potopikha village was added to the village (in 1926 [4] - 131 inhabitants), located on the right bank of the Dubna River [5] .
