From a family of curlingists: his father Peter Gallant is the champion of Canada among mixed teams (1987) and a famous coach (in recent years he has trained the South Korean women's team skip Kim Eun-John ); Christopher's elder brother, Brett Gallant - champion of Canada 2017 and world 2017 .
