Michael Rosenfeld

Mikhail Rosenfeld ( 1916 [1] - September 2, 1943 , Kravtsovizna ) - a Jewish activist of the resistance movement during World War II , a participant in the uprising in the Warsaw ghetto , partisans of the detachment of the Guards of the Ludova named after Mordechai Anilevich.

Before the war, he studied psychology, in particular, with Tadeusz Kotarbinsk . After the outbreak of World War II, he ended up in the Warsaw ghetto , where he worked as a teacher. He was a member of PPR and the ŻOB Main Team. Together with Mordechai Anelivich was in a bunker on the street. Miłej 18. In 1945 he was posthumously awarded the Silver Cross of the Order of Virtuity Military

He was buried in the mass grave of the partisans GL in the Jewish cemetery on Okopova Street in Warsaw (building 31, row 3) [2] [3] .

Perpetuation

The name of Michael Rosenfeld is written on a plaque located at the Warsaw Ghetto Fighters Evacuation Monument, on Prostej 51 Street in Warsaw.
