2015 World Curling Championship among veterans

The 2015 World Curling Championship among veterans was held in Sochi ( Russia ) from April 18 to April 25, 2015 for both men's and women's teams. 24 male and 13 female teams took part in the championship. The championship was held for the 14th time. [one]

In the men's tournament, the US team became the champion (3rd time in its history), having won the Canadian national team in the final. The third place went to the New Zealand team , who won the Denmark national team in the bronze medal match. [2]

In the women's tournament, the champion (for the 10th time in her history) was the Canadian team , who won the final team of Italy . The third place went to the USA national team , who won the Sweden national team in the bronze medal match. [2]

For the first time, the national teams of Kazakhstan and Turkey took part in the championship.

The championship was held simultaneously in the same sports complex (but at different venues) with the 2015 World Championship among mixed couples .
