Legend of the Recession

According to ancient legend, the Orthodox Church was located on the lake for a long time. One night, the clergyman, the head priest of the village church, dreamed of the Mother of God warning of imminent trouble. As if the irreparable happened to his house and church. The priest was ordered to urgently leave this place. Having woken up and waking the relatives, the priest and his family hastily gathered up all their belongings, all that they could carry away, and left the house. Suddenly, already far away from the house at a decent distance, the priest remembered that he had forgotten his prayer book at home. Returning to his native place, he discovered a lake. From the depths of which the dome of the church with a cross was still visible. Rumor has it that sometimes, on dark nights, from the depths of the waters of the lake are heard the remote deaf howling sounds of a church bell [5] [6] .
