History
It was formed in the postwar period. According to the results of the 1952 championship, the ODO (Petrozavodsk) was to compete with the Petrozavodsk Lokomotiv for a ticket to the II group of the All-Union Championship. However, Lokomotiv refused to participate in transitional games and, thus, DO (Petrozavodsk) gained the right to participate in the USSR championship. Winner of the Karelian-Finnish SSR Cup in 1955
