Elias Michael Theodore ( English Elias Michael Theodorou ; born May 31, 1988 , Mississauga ) is a Canadian mixed-style fighter , a representative of the middle weight category. He has been performing at a professional level since 2011, he is known primarily for participation in tournaments of the UFC fighting organization, winner of the fighting reality show The Ultimate Fighter .

Biography
Elias Theodorou was born on May 31, 1988 in Mississauga , Ontario , Canada . It has Greek roots. He studied at a local school, then went to college, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in creative advertising. In the first year of college I became interested in martial arts and began to attend classes in MMA [1] .
Start of a professional career
He made his debut in mixed martial arts at the professional level in June 2011, beating his rival by technical knockout. He fought in various small promotions mainly in the province of Ontario - out of all the fights came out the winner. In April 2012, he won the tournament of a fairly large organization Bellator , later became the ECC and NAAFS champion in the middle weight category.
The Ultimate Fighter
With eight wins and no defeats in his record, in December 2013, Theodor was among the participants of the popular fighting reality show The Ultimate Fighter - this season the middleweight fighters from Canada opposed middle weights from Australia [2] . Being in the Canadian team of Patrick Koet , he successfully passed his rivals in the quarterfinal and semi-final stages, winning the majority of judges from both. In the final final match in April 2014, he met with compatriot Sheldon Westcott and defeated him by technical knockout in the second round, thus becoming the winner of this season TUF Middleweight Championship [3] .
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Thanks to the successful performance of the TUF show, Theodoru was able to sign a contract with the world's largest fighting organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship . So, already in the same 2014, he went to Octagon against Brazilian Bruno Santos and took the upper hand over him by unanimous judicial decision.
In 2015, by technical knockout, he won Roger Narvaez [4] , but then he suffered the first defeat in his professional career - their confrontation with Tiagus Santos lasted all the time allotted, and as a result, the judges gave the Brazilian a victory [5] .
Continuing to regularly participate in battles, in the future Elias Theodorou defeated such famous fighters as Sam Alvi [6] , Cesar Ferreira [7] and Daniel Kelly [8] , but the match against Brad Tavares lost on points [9] .
