San Diego de la Union ( Spanish: San Diego de la Unión ) is a municipality in Mexico , Guanajuato , with an administrative center in the city of the same name . The population according to the 2010 census was 37,103 people.

Content
General information
The name San Diego was given in honor of St. Diego and Unión - as a symbol of unity.
The area of the municipality is 1013 km², which is 3.31% of the total state [3] . It borders with other municipalities in the state of Guanajuato : in the east with San Luis de la Paz , in the south with Dolores Hidalgo , in the west with San Felipe , and also in the north it borders with another state of Mexico - San Luis Potosi [4] .

According to statistics from 2000, the working population is employed by sectors of the economy in the following proportions: agriculture, livestock and fishing - 41.9%, industry and construction - 23.9%, services and tourism - 30.1%, etc. - 4.1% [3] .
