Story
The narrative is divided into 14 chapters in accordance with the stages of the procession of Jesus Christ . The family of 14-year-old Mary belongs to the Catholic parish, which is distinguished by special fanaticism and adherence to the strict canons that existed before the Second Vatican Council . Under the influence of the eloquence of Father Weber and under the pressure of her mother, hostile to accepting any disagreement, Mary only thinks of becoming closer to God. And for this, you need to suppress your desires and abandon the little joys that life throws up - for example, delicious food or chatting with a boy who sympathizes with her. She even dreams of giving her life to God so that he can cure a little brother who has signs of autism. Bringing herself to exhaustion, Mary goes to the hospital and is on the verge of death ...
