Content
Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Small Kirzhach River , 20 km southeast of the center of the village of Bolshoy Karinskoye and 19 km southeast of the city of Aleksandrov .
History
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, there were 2 villages of Starovo and Vysokovo , which were part of the Makhrinsky volost of Alexander district . In 1859 [2] there were 20 yards in the village of Starovo , and 6 yards in Vysokovo . In the lists of settlements of the Vladimir province in 1905 [3] there is one village of Staro-Vysokovo with 39 yards. Since 1926, the village of Staro-Vysokoye in the Karabanovo volost with the number of yards - 26 [4] .
Since 1929, the village was part of the Romanovsky village council of the Aleksandrovsky district , since 1948 - as part of the suburban area of the city of Aleksandrov , since 1965 - as part of the Aleksandrovsky district , since 1969 - as part of the Makhrinsky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Karinsky rural settlement .
