Victoria ( Spanish: Victoria ) is a municipality in Mexico , the state of Guanajuato , with an administrative center in the city of the same name . The population according to the 2010 census was 19,820 people.

Content
General information
The name of the municipality of Victoria from the Spanish language - victory , was given after the successful uprising of 1847 [3] .
The area of the municipality is 1047 km², which is 3.42% of the total state [4] . It borders with other municipalities in the state of Guanajuato : in the east with Hichu and Santa Catarina , in the south with Tierra Blanca , in the south-west with Doctor Mora , in the west with San Luis de la Paz , as well as in the north bordered by another state of Mexico - San Luis Potosi .

According to statistics from 2000, the working population is employed by sectors of the economy in the following proportions: agriculture, livestock and fishing - 31.9%, industry and construction - 27.5%, services and tourism - 36.2%, etc. - 4.4% [4] .
