Biography

Oscar Frame was born in London [1] . From early childhood, he was engaged in swimming, was interested in surfing and sailing, took time for cycling. Soon he began to study in a ballet studio in London , which he attended for about a year. After the family moved to the south of England , he continued his ballet classes at the Ballet Academy in Hampton with Judy Breen. Thanks to this teacher, Oscar Freim realized that he must deal with ballet professionally [2] .

Graduate of the Hamton Ballet Academy. In 2011, he received a scholarship and began studying at the Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington . He studied under S. Isaev, N. Makhateli, Nikolay Kabanyaev [1] . Nikolai Kabanyaev taught Oscar Freim how to work [2] .

In 2015, he graduated from the Kirov Academy. During his studies, he performed Grand Pas from the ballet The Nutcracker (choreography by V. Vainonen ), pas de deux from the ballet Giselle by A. Adan (choreography by M. Petipa ), Pas de trois “The Ocean and the Pearls” to music by A. Arends from the ballet The Little Humpbacked Horse by C. Pugni (choreography by A. Gorsky), pas de deux from the ballet Sleeping Beauty by P. Tchaikovsky (choreography by M. Petipa) [1] .

He continued his ballet classes at the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam . In January 2016 he entered the Academy of Russian Ballet. A. Ya. Vaganova . The following year, he began to study in the class of Nikolai Tsiskaridze . At the Academy of Russian Ballet, he performed a solo part in the ballet Bolero by M. Ravel (choreography by B. Nizhinsky, choreography by A. Liepa), soloist (Classical Symphony to music by S. Prokofiev, choreography by L. Lavrovsky), ballet part ( painting “School of Dance” from the ballet “Conservatory” by H. S. Pauli, choreography by A. Bournonville, production by D. Bern Larsen), Russian Doll, Pierrot / Two Pierrot (“Fairy of Dolls” by J. Bayer, choreography by N. and S Legatov as edited by N. Tsiskaridze), solo part in Krakowyak (choreographic scene "Polish Ball" from the opera "Ivan Susanin" M. Glinka). Oscar Frame performed the part of The Nutcracker-Prince in the ballet The Nutcracker by P. Tchaikovsky [1] .

In 2015, Oscar Frame became a participant in the Prix de Lausanne competition. He did not make it to the finals, but during the viewing, which was made for representatives of troupes and ballet schools, he received about 14 different proposals for cooperation [2] .

Oscar Frame called Nikolai Tsiskaridze and Irina Sitnikova their favorite teachers at the Academy of Russian Ballet. It was under the leadership of Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Oscar Frame was able to achieve rapid progress [2] .

In 2017, he graduated from the Academy of Russian Ballet. A. Ya. Vaganova [1] . The final performance “Puppet Fairy” took place on the Kremlin stage , participated in it together with graduate Eleanor Sevenard [3] - great-great-granddaughter of ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya [4] .

After graduation, he received job invitations from the Bolshoi Theater and the Mariinsky Theater [2] .

He was accepted into the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theater [1] and became one of the few foreigners who had ever worked in the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater [2] .

In the spring of 2017, he participated in the gala concert "Icons of Russian Ballet", which was held at the Coliseum Theater in London [1] .

His repertoire at the Bolshoi Theater includes a party of gentlemen at the ball “Romeo and Juliet” by S. Prokofiev directed by A. Ratmansky). Oscar Frame was among the ballet dancers who participated in the premiere of ballet at the Bolshoi Theater. He performs the pas de deux (Giselle by A. Adan, choreography by J. Coralli, J. Perrault, M. Petipa as revised by Y. Grigorovich), pages of the retinue of the Fairy of the Lilac, Blue Bird (The Sleeping Beauty by P. Tchaikovsky, choreography M Petipa as amended by Yu.
