Biography
Born on January 5, 1874 in St. Petersburg. His parents decided to give him a home education. In 1895 he entered the Kharkov Veterinary Institute , which he graduated in 1900 and immediately received the degree of Master of Veterinary Science. In 1902 he moved to Moscow and entered the three faculties of Moscow State University at the same time - natural, historical, philological and medical, at the same time working in the physiological laboratory of the Petrovsky Academy . In 1910 he entered the Moscow Archaeological Institute , which he graduated in 1915 with a round honors, in this regard, he was awarded the title of scientist-archivist. In 1918, he served as an employee of the People's Commissariat of Workers 'and Peasants' Inspection until 1923. From April 1923 until his death he served as an indexer of the CPSU .
He died on July 2, 1940 in Moscow. He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
Personal Life
Nikolay Rusinov married Vera Rusinova (1877-1949). In this marriage, his son was born Igor (1906-73).
Scientific Works
The main scientific works are devoted to the theory and practice of application of the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) . Author of 50 books, scientific papers, reviews, reviews and articles.
