Honest is the second studio album by American hip-hop artist and music producer Future (Future), released on April 22, 2014 via A1, Freebandz and Epic. He reached second place in the US Billboard 200 charts (USA).

In June 2012, Future announced the release of its second studio album, originally titled Future Hendrix ^[13] ^[14] . Then there were several more interviews about the musician's ongoing work on the new disc ^[14] , December 2012 ^[15] ^[16] ^[17] , 01/15/2013 ^[18] , January 2013 ^[19] , June 2013 ^[20] . On August 7, 2013, Futures announced a new release date (November 26, 20113) and a new name ( Honest ) ^[21] . In October 2013, during an interview with The Huffington Post, the rapper confirmed the release date for November 26, 2013 ^[22] .

Commercial Success

Honest debuted at No. 2 in the US Billboard 200 mainstream chart with a print run of 53,000 copies in its first week in the US ^[29] . In the second week of release, another 20,000 copies were sold ^[30] . In the third week of its sales, another 11,000 copies of the disc were sold ^[31] . In the fourth week, an additional 8,000 copies were added ^[32] . By June 2014, the album reached 111,000 copies in the United States ^[33] .
