Mites with oblong body shape and size (850-950). On the dorsal side of the Idysoma, only the subosomal shield. Opisthosomal and pygidial shields are absent. Stigmas with oblong peritrames are dorsolateral. Mesosomal and poststigma shields are absent. Gnatosome is located terminally. Tritosterne is available. Datatosternal teeth are available. Sternal flap is missing. Genital scute narrow and long. Anal shield with anus and crybrum, located ventrally. Convexes and spikes on cokes are missing.
Parasitic on birds of Caprimulgiformes and Crane (Gruiformes) orders.
