The author and producer of the song “Dangerous Night” became the vocalist of the group Jared Leto , co-authored the musician Stevie Aiello , co-producer - Zedd [2] . On January 23, 2018, Thirty Seconds to Mars announced that “Dangerous Night” will be the second single from their upcoming fifth studio album [3] . The song premiered on the radio show Beats 1 [4] .
"Dangerous Night" contains elements of the styles EDM , ambient and arena-rock . Reviewed by ABC Radio it is noted that “Dangerous Night” is a “more personal song” in comparison with the previous works of the group, but at the same time there are musical elements characteristic of the hymns [5] . In a review from CBS Radio, the song is characterized as “a rock anthem, ready for performance in arenas” [6] . A review from Billboard magazine states that the song became the starting point for the group in the process of moving away from hard-rock sound [1] .
Thirty Seconds to Mars first appeared on “Dangerous Night” on the TV program. Later show with Stephen Colbert on January 25, 2018. Shannon Leto was not present at the performance, as the third musician made by Stevie Aiello [7] .
