“Jean Oris” ( Kazakh. “Zhana Orce” , “New Field”) - newspaper, organ of the Turkestan Regional Committee of the RCP (b) , political department of the Turkestan Front . It was published from April to July 1920, a total of 14 issues [1] .

The materials were published in the Kazakh and Kyrgyz languages based on Arabic graphics . “Jean Oris” informed about the situation on the Turkestan front. The departments “Shet elderde” (“Abroad”), “Kehester Insinde” (“In Council”), “Aimak Habarlary” (“Reports from the Regions”) worked. After December 7, 1920, the place of the newspaper “Zhana Oris” was taken up by Ak Zhol [2] .
