Biography
- In 1912 he graduated from St. Petersburg University .
- In 1926-1934 he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Linguistics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine . Repressed in 1934.
- In 1944-1957 he was at the editorial work.
Scientific activity
The author of the first detailed description of the language of Ukrainian-Moldavian letters of the 14-15 centuries (written in 1909, published in 1931).
One of the compilers of the second volume of the Russian-Ukrainian dictionary of the Academy of Sciences (1929-1933).
Author of works on phonetic transcription of the Ukrainian language (1919) and in the case of Ukrainian medical terminology (1934).
Author and editor of several textbooks on Ukrainian and Russian for secondary schools.
