History

The group’s birthday is considered December 22, 2000 .

The group recorded 8 electric albums, 4 acoustic, 16 singles and 4 DVDs , repeatedly participated in the festivals “ Maxidrom ”, “ Invasion ”, “Nashville”, “ Wings ”, “SKIF”, “Megachaus”, “Kuban”, performed before bands Rollins Band , Garbage , Clawfinger , The Rasmus , Red Hot Chilli Peppers , The Vaccines , Linkin Park .

In 2006, the musicians recorded the soundtrack for the film " Graffiti " (directed by Igor Apasyan ). The premiere of the film was sold out as part of the XIX International Film Festival in Tokyo . Also, the songs “Animal Jazz” are used in various series on central television channels (“ Margosha ”, “ Gentlemen officers ”, “ Love is not show business ”, etc.)

On October 21, 2007, the group presented to the public an acoustic album entitled "1: 0 For the Benefit of Autumn". This is the first acoustics of Animal Jazz, recorded in full force.

On March 13, 2009, the group presented their new album “Egoist” in the Luzhniki Sports Palace . Further, the group presented the album in clubs - on March 15, 2009 in Kiev at the Bingo club, and on March 20, 2009 - in St. Petersburg , in GlavClub.

In 2009, Animal Jazz, together with Vladi from the Caste group, recorded the track “Everything Is Possible”. The clip for this song was rotated on many television channels and was included in the hit parade "Russian Top Ten" on MTV-Russia [1] .

Further, “Animal Jazz” went on a tour of the cities of Russia and the CIS as part of the “EGOISTIC tour”.

On March 25, 2011, on the KapKan Records label (in collaboration with Soyuz Music ), the band released their sixth album, Animal Jazz. The album was released in a limited edition, in the form of a book with a group poster and lyrics. Each disk is numbered [2] [3] .

In June 2012, the musicians took part in the first rock festival "Island" ( Arkhangelsk ).

On June 1 and 2, 2014 , the group acted as a warm-up before Linkin Park concerts in Russia. The show took place on June 1 in St. Petersburg (Petrovsky Stadium). On June 2, the show took place in Moscow (Olympic Stadium).

On March 15, 2017, the video “Here and Now” was released. The shootings were attended by wards of the AdVita charity foundation [4] .

March 19, 2017 the group releases a mini-album called "Love for Flights." The disc consists of two tracks ("Peter" and "Love for Flights"). The track "Love for Flights" got a place in the charts " Chart Dozen " [5] . On September 13, the single "Happiness" was released, which also hit the Chart Dozen.

On November 17, the release of the compilation Step Inhale. Tribute ”, which presents songs from the album“ Step Inhale ”performed by other musicians. The album’s release, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of “Step Inhale”, was preceded by two singles, one of which was shot a clip.

On March 8, 2018, the video “Happiness” was released. The album of the same name was released on March 30, 2018 [6] .

On July 13, 2018, a joint release with the rap artist Decl was released, the acoustic album "Acoustic", which presented new acoustic versions of Decl's legendary songs - "Friday", "Who are you", "Party", the album also presented contemporary works by Decl . Bender (PTVP) & DJ Worm also took part in the record.

In anticipation of the presentation of the new album, the group decided to excite their fans and all the participants in turn announced their departure from the collective. As a result, all this turned out to be nothing more than an April Fools' joke, but many listeners believed in it. Musicians denied all statements and invited everyone to their concerts
