Son of Ashard , Viscount de la Ferte-sur-Ob. Brother Fulk, Bishop of Soissons in 998-1017. Mentioned as a graph in a document dated 1011.
Wife - Adelise. According to Acta Sanctorum - the widow of Guy , Earl of Soissons, daughter of Count Hilbert (Giselbert), and the wedding took place in 992. According to the Europäische Stammtafeln , Adeleise was not a widow, but the daughter and heiress of Guy, Earl of Soissons.
