Banru Maru ( 蟠 竜 丸 ) was a schooner of the Tokugawa Shogunate fleet. After the fall, the shogunate was part of the Tokugawa Republic of Ezo's loyalist fleet during the Bosin War in Japan. The schooner, a three-masted ship with slanting sails , had a length of 137.2 feet (41.8 meters), a width of 17.11 feet (5.45 meters), a draft of 10.7 feet (3.23 meters) and a displacement of 370 tons. She was armed with six 12-pound bronze guns of 121 mm caliber. Built in 1856 by the shipyard, London , UK. It was decommissioned in 1888 and dismantled in 1897 [1] [2] [3] .

Banru Maru was destroyed by the Imperial warship at the 1869 naval battle in Hakodate Bay.
