Biography
Kadyr Rakhimovich Timergazin was born the ninth (and last) child in a poor peasant family. From childhood he worked as a shepherd, later as a laborer. At the age of 14, he secretly escaped from his parents and entered the Argayash boarding school after which in 1930 he entered Kazan University , whose geological faculty he graduated in 1935 .
Two years after graduation, he worked as a geologist in the laboratory of experimental field geology and a petrograph of the petrographic office of the Central Research Laboratory (TsNIL) of the Bashneftekombinat.
1937 - 1941 - head of the geological office of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory of the Bashneft association.
1941 - 1943 - in the ranks of the Red Army: first served as commander of an artillery platoon on the Trans-Baikal Front in Mongolia, later was transferred to the 2-year Military Law Academy in Ashgabat .
1943 - 1945 - in the ranks of the 397th Infantry Division of the 1st Belorussian Front . He participated in the liberation of Belarus, the Baltic states, Poland, East Germany, in the storming of Berlin, in a meeting on the Elbe . He was awarded orders and medals.
1945 - 1946 - in personnel military service in Germany.
1946 - 1947 - Director of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory of the Bashneft association, on the basis of which the Ufa Scientific Research Institute (Ufa Petroleum Research Institute) is created with the participation of the Central Laboratory of the Ufa Oil Refinery.
1947 - 1950 - Head of the Laboratory of Lithology and Geochemistry of the Ufa Scientific Research Petroleum Institute.
1949 defended his thesis on "Terrigenous sediments of the Devonian of the Bavlinsko-Tuymazinsky oil-bearing region."
1950 - 1951 - head of the geological department of the Ufa Scientific Research Petroleum Institute.
1951 - 1953 - Director of the Mining and Geological Institute of the Bashkir Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences
Then - the head of the laboratory of geology of oil and gas of the Mining and Geological Institute, now the Institute of Geology of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences [1] .
Since 1958 - Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences , the dissertation "Pre-Devonian Formations of Western Bashkiria and the Prospects of Their Oil and Gas Content"
1959 - 1963 - deputy and chairman of the Supreme Council of the BASSR .
Since 1960 - professor .
1963 - Member of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR .
April 4, 1963 - died of trench jade received at the front.
Scientific Achievements
One of the first to give a description of lithology , reservoir properties of carbon , rocks of the Ishimbay deposit , a characteristic of the Ufa red-colored deposits of the Nugush section of the western slope of the Southern Urals . He conducted a comprehensive study of Permian coal and Devonian deposits in the Tuymazinsky district . The results of these works influenced the increase in the efficiency of exploration work in oil and gas fields, which brought Bashkiria to first place in oil production in the USSR [2] . He recommended drilling wells in the area of development of the Devonian terrigenous sequence. He took part in the discovery of Tuymazinsky , Bavlinsky, Shkapovsky, Serafimovsky oil fields. The author of 70 scientific papers.
