Titovsky pine forest - a tract on the outskirts of Shebekino, Belgorod region of Russia. The area of the tract is 257 hectares. It occupies quarters No. 15, 16, 17, 21, 22 of the OSU Shebekinsky Forestry (former Arkhangelsk Forestry ). Longevity trees grow on the territory of the tract - oaks and spruce , which in 1991 were included in the list of regional natural monuments of the Belgorod region, with IUCN category III, IV.

Content
History
The name comes from the village of Titovka , which was founded in the middle of the XIX century. This forest belonged to the landowner Batesatul, it stretched from the current creamery to the village of Ustinka (now within the city of Shebekino). It was planted in the late XIX - early XX centuries on an area of about a thousand hectares.
During the Great Patriotic War , fighters and partisans defended themselves against the Nazis in the forest. Traces of trenches and dugouts are still visible in this forest, fragments and traces from direct hits of shells on centuries-old oaks and pines.
Flora
Titovsky pine forest is a sparse mixed forest with a predominance of common pine . Vegetation category: typical and southern forest-steppe eastern European lowland. There are areas of growth of pedunculate oak , aspen , warty birch , maple acutifolia , and mountain ash . Of the bushes - warty spindle tree , black elderberry , honeysuckle , raspberry , rosehip . The grassy layer with a predominance of cereals is well developed. The forest is a resting place for citizens.
