Transportation
In 1887, the Central Argentine Railways company ( Spanish Ferrocarril Central Argentino ) decided to build a railway line from Buenos Aires to the north - to San Fernando - and then connect it with the Rosario - Córdoba railway. In October 1888, Law No. 2386 was passed, permitting construction, but the number of stations was reduced from the planned 18 to three: Pergamino, Capilla del Señor and Victoria . Construction began in 1889 and ended two years later; The opening ceremony took place on August 29, 1891. [2] Later, other stations were opened - Dr. Schweizer , Bankalari-R , Marina-Nueva and Punta Chika . Geographically, the city stretches along the railway line, which can be clearly seen on the maps.
Developed road network (as mentioned above, Victoria is part of the continuous urban development of Greater Buenos Aires).
