Career
On August 13, 2010, Marte signed a contract with Seattle Mariners as a free agent. In 2011, he began his professional career with the Seattle subsidiary in the Dominican Summer League. Then he played for farm clubs a level higher - Everett Aquasox, Clinton Lamberkings, High Desert Mavericks, Jackson Generals and Tacoma Rainiers. November 20, 2014 he was included in the expanded composition of the Mariners.
July 31, 2015 Marte was first called up to the main team of Major League Baseball. After the exchange of Brad Miller, he began to receive more playing time. In 2016, Marte played 119 matches for the Mariners.
On November 23, 2016, the Mariners exchanged Ketel and Taizuang Walker to Arizona [1] . He began the season of 2017 as part of Rino Acis in the AAA League, but on June 28 he was transferred to the main team [2] . On October 4, in a wild card game against Colorado Rockies , he knocked out two triplets , becoming the eighth player in Major League Baseball history to achieve such success in the playoff game.
