Biography
Born on May 28, 1979 in a Buryat family in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China [1] . Her great-grandfather was forced to emigrate from the Agin steppe to China during the Russian Civil War .
In 1993, the family moved to Russia, settling in the city of Ulan-Ude , Buryatia . Here, Badma-Handu, who was fluent in Buryat language, immediately accepted to study at the Republican Buryat National Boarding College. After college graduated from the East-Siberian State Institute of Culture
Since 1998, Ayusheeva has been a soloist in the State Theater of Song and Dance "Baikal". In her song repertoire, a special place is occupied by ancient Buryat melodies, lost by Buryats during the years of Soviet power, but preserved in their original form among Buryat immigrants in the Shenehen region in the Evenki Hoshun of the Hulun-Buir urban district of Inner Mongolia of China.
She has a unique voice and charming manner of singing, which wins the hearts of listeners. The music critic noted: “The timbre of her voice is ringing and clear when you listen to Badma Hand singing, sometimes it seems that you can hear a pure mountain stream running” [2] .
Her people loved such songs as Tsagaatai Golni, Nayan Nava'a, Yahash Hum Bib and Ezhydee.
In 2006 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Buryatia.
Badma-Handa Ayusheeva became the first and so far the only Buryat singer who was invited to perform at one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world - Carnegie Hall in New York [3] .
Since 2010, he has been living in Moscow .
For his contribution to the development and preservation of the Buryat national culture, the Head of the Republic of Buryatia, Aleksey Tsydenov, decree of March 20, 2018, Ayusheeva, was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Buryatia.
