Biography

Lyudmila Anatolievna Baida was born on December 10, 1960 in Kiev. In 1980 she graduated from the Kiev College of Music (conducting and choral department, class V. Shalkevich). In 1985 she graduated from the conducting and choral faculty of the Kiev Conservatory, class G. Tkachenko (now the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. Tchaikovsky ).

Since 1985 she worked as the head of the female student choir "Pavana" of the Institute of Arts of the National Pedagogical University. Drahomanova , since 1993 - Associate Professor.

The repertoire of Lyudmila Anatolievna Baida includes Ukrainian ancient and modern sacred music, ritual songs, music of foreign authors. She often turns to the works of modern Ukrainian composers. With the participation of Lyudmila Baida, for the first time, the cantata “Seven Tears” and the chorus cycle “Spivanochki” by Vladimir Zubitsky, the chorus cycle of Igor Shcherbakov to verses by Lina Kostenko, “Kupalskaya” by E. Stankovich, the Liturgy of Lesya Dychko, and some choirs from the opera “Yatransky Games” And Shamo, Pavana V. Stepurko.

With the choir Lyudmila Anatolyevna took part in the International Academic Banska Bystrica Choir Festival (1989, Slovakia ), she performed at the festivals “Musical Premieres of the Season”, “Kiev Music Fest”, and “Golden-Domed Kiev”. In 1997, the Pavan Choir under the direction of L. Baida received the Grand Prix of the III All-Ukrainian Choir Competition named after M. Leontovich. Records choir performances on radio, television, CDs.

The wife of the choral conductor Nikolai Nikolayevich Gobdich .
