The Ilgyshev village settlement is a municipality in the Alikovsky district of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation .

The administrative center is the village of Ilgyshevo .

Geography

On the lands of the settlement flows the river Sorma , full of spring.

History

The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Chuvash Republic of November 24, 2004 No. 37 “On establishing the boundaries of municipalities of the Chuvash Republic and giving them the status of urban, rural settlement, municipal district and urban district” ^[3] .

Infrastructure

In the rural settlement there are municipal educational institutions “Ilgyshevskaya secondary school”, a rural library, 2 rural clubs.

On the territory of the settlement there is a dendrological park where the monuments are installed:

fellow soldiers who fell in the battles of World War II;
Monument to the Hero of the Civil War Ivanov P.I.

Communications and the media

Communication : Volgatelecom, Bee Line, MTS, Megaphone. Developed Internet ADSL technology.
Newspapers and magazines: Alikov district newspaper “Purnăç çulĕpe” - “On the way of life” ^[11] . Publication languages: Chuvash, Russian.

Television: The population uses terrestrial and satellite television, in the absence of cable television. Broadcast television allows you to receive a national channel in Chuvash and Russian.
