Biography
Evgenia Shakhotko was born in Moscow in 1968. Since childhood, she loved to draw. From 1981 to 1983 studied at 1 children's art school.
From 1983 to 1987 studied at the Moscow Theater Art and Technical School at the Bolshoi Theater at the art and costume department.
In 1993, she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio with the faculty of "artist - director of the theater" (course of Valery Leventhal ). She worked in many theaters in the capital, taught at the Mumi-Troll children's art school. Member of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia.
In 2013, she won the Golden Mask Russian National Theater Award in the nomination “The Artist's Best Work in the Puppet Theater”, the performance “Snowman” of the Central Obraztsov Puppet Theater . [one]
The main artist of the Moscow Puppet Theater , among the productions: “Let's go!”, “The Magic Nut, or The Nutcracker History” by L. Yakovlev according to E. T. A. Hoffmann.
In 2017, she was again nominated for the Golden Mask Award for the performance "Tale with closed eyes" Hedgehog in the Fog "Moscow Puppet Theater [2] .
