History
As part of the Commonwealth, Lubech had the Magdeburg right , but information about the presence of his coat of arms at that time did not survive. The first known heraldic symbols of Lubech are associated with the period of Hetmanism . The seals of the Lübeck Town Hall in 1716-1733 depicted a knight's cross, above it - a hexagonal star. The emblem framed a cartouche of stylized palm branches. The print of the hundredth chancellery of 1742 has a completely different design - a crowned heraldic shield with a decorative image of a lattice. In the period from 1751 to 1781 this symbol was supplemented by a crest in the form of the coat of arms of the Chernigov regiment - an eagle holding a cross [1] .
In 1997, by the decision of the village council, Lubech received a new emblem. In the azure shield there is a green band with three silver Old Russian helmets. At the top of the shield is a golden Orthodox cross, at the bottom is a golden anchor [2] .
The modern coat of arms was adopted in 2007. Shield of azure and green colors, separated by a silver wavy belt. At the top there is a wooden fortified wall of gold color with three towers, at the bottom there are two crossed gold parchachs and the inscription in silver letters: “ 882 ” (the first mention of the city in the annals) [3] [4] [5] .
