Story
The series tells about the life and work of firefighters , rescue workers and paramedics of the Chicago fire station number 51.

| When re-walking around the rooms of the burned-out building of the boarding school, Severide discovers a ten-year-old child with numerous burns. Dawson retakes the test for a firefighter, successfully passes it and prepare for transfer to another fire department. Mills is still tormented by questions about the mysterious death of his father. In the meantime, Bowden is awaited by the surprise wedding ceremony in part 51. During the wedding banquet, Matthew makes an offer to Dawson, but before she can say the answer, they receive a call about a supposedly burning building. Smoke comes from the upper floors of the building. Suddenly, the building explodes while the entire fire brigade of part 51, including paramedics, is inside, except for Chief Bowden. Now their life is hanging by a thread. | ||||||
Crossovers
The crossovers between Chicago Firemen and Chicago Policemen were shown on April 29 and 30, 2014; an explosion occurs in it, which firefighters fight and investigate by police [23] .
