Biography
Born in 1904 in the Gudauta district in a Georgian peasant family. Member of the CPSU since 1931.
Since 1920 - on economic, social and political work. In 1920 - 1946 - peasant, collective farmer, on party and soviet work in the Gudauta district of the Abkhaz SSR, first secretary of the Gudauta district committee of the Communist Party of Georgia, first secretary of the Poti city committee of the Communist Party of Georgia.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 2nd and 3rd convocations. Candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Georgia since 1940, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Georgia in 1949-1952.
