Alexandria plant lifting equipment

Alexandria factory of lifting and transport equipment was founded in 1962 . In Soviet times, in addition to crane equipment manufactured consumer goods.
In 1974, together with VNIIPTMASH , several innovative projects were developed and put into mass production: electric bridge with a statically identifiable crane of a large span (up to 34.5 m), electric bridge with an explosion-proof design, reduction of the metal intensity of double-girder cranes, installation of remote control of cranes ^{[1 ]} . More development is described in the section "Scientific and technical development."
Until 1991, serial production of cranes was launched, which were operated in the entire Soviet Union . Over the years of independence, Ukraine has changed several names and legal forms. In 2014, the plant returned to its former glorious name, widely known outside the Union.
In 1978, the anniversary ten thousandth crane was launched ^[2] .
From 1962 to the present, more than 20,000 cranes have been produced.

The activities of the plant, aimed at the manufacture of lifting and transport equipment , bridge and gantry cranes .
Double-girder bridge cranes are manufactured with a lifting capacity of up to 125 tons, single-girder bridges up to 16 tons, gantry cranes up to 40 tons.
