Irpa (river)

Irpa ( Ukrainian Irpa ) is the right tributary of the Again , flowing along the Klimovsky ( Bryansk region , Russia ) and Semenovsky districts ( Chernihiv region , Ukraine ). At the head of the river is called Krivel

Geography

Length - 40 km (in the Chernihiv region 3 km [1] ). The catchment area is 342 km². The river channel (water mark) in the lower reaches (Gorodok village) is located at an altitude of 132.9 m above sea level, the middle course (Novy Ropsk village) is 139.3 m, and the upper reaches (Chernaya Krinitsa village) is 162.2 m .

The channel is winding, 5-6 m wide and 1-2 m deep. The floodplain is occupied by meadows and wetlands, forests. In the upper reaches (Klimovo), several ponds were created.

It originates north of the village of Khokhlovka ( Klimovsky district ). The river flows to the southeast. About 1 km in the estuary part of the channel serves as the state border of Russia and Ukraine. It falls into the Dreams south of the village of Gorodok [2] ( Semenovsky district ) and east of the village of Rubezh ( Klimovsky district ).
