Friedrich Tamms ( November 4, 1904 , Schwerin - July 4, 1980 [1] , Düsseldorf ) is a German architect. Professor of the Technical University in Berlin . The author of the Luftwaffe air defense towers .

Biography
Friedrich Tamms was born on November 4, 1904 in the city of Schwerin . In 1929 he graduated from the Higher Technical School in Berlin. He studied and was friends with Albert Speer .
In 1937, the Verra Viaduct was built according to his design. From 1938 and throughout the war he worked with Albert Speer. Since 1942 he became a professor at the Higher Technical School in Berlin. According to his designs, they created the Luftwaffe air defense towers.
After the war he continued to work as an architect.
In 1973 he created the project of a football stadium for the 1974 World Cup.
