Baranovo ( Kaz. Baranovo ) is a salt lake in the area of Magzhan Zhumabaev of the North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is located 6 km west of the village of Karakog [1] and 0.4 km west of the village of Chistoye [2] in the tract Kamyshlovsky log .

According to a topographic survey of the 1940s, the surface area of the lake is 5.75 km². The largest length of the lake is 3.1 km, the largest width is 2.5 km. The coastline is 9.2 km long, and the coastline is 1.07 km long. The lake is located at an altitude of 111.7 m above sea level [1] .
The lake is included in the list of fishery reservoirs of local importance, there is a lake-commodity fish farm [2] .
