  • Artush Mesropovich was born in the state farm of Zhetysu, Karasai district, Almaty region in 1944 in the family of Mesrop, deported to Kazakhstan in 1937 from the highland village of Keller of the Meghrinsky district of Armenia.
  • Father - Karapetyan Mesrop Oganzhanovich (b. 1886) - a peasant. Mother - Karapetyan Varti Patkanovna (born 1900) is a housewife.
  • In 1968 he graduated from the correspondence department of the faculty "Machines and Apparatuses of Food Production" with a degree in Mechanical Engineer at the All-Union Correspondence Institute of the Food Industry ( Moscow ).
