History
The illustrious military railroad unit was formed on October 1, 1948 . In the period from October to December 1948, the military units of the brigade were stationed in the cities of Kursk , Orel , Stary Oskol , Ostrogozhsk .
The first commander of the newly formed unit was Colonel Neil Stepanovich Tsvetkov. Lieutenant Colonel Mikhail Georgievich Makarov was appointed the head of the political department, and Ivan Fedorovich Mulukin was appointed chief of staff of the compound.
Subsequently, the personnel changed their places of deployment.
Since 1952, personnel have repeatedly performed complex tasks in the construction of railways.
The military personnel laid a railway between the cities of Perm and Kizel with a length of 162 kilometers. In the 50s of the last century, railway soldiers built access roads to the Kama hydroelectric station and the Yayvinsky state district power station .
At the beginning of 1963, parts of the railway compound were relocated to the city of Ryazan , where they continued work on the construction of railway infrastructure in the Ryazan region.
In the 70s and 80s, the personnel were engaged in the construction of railway sections, houses and stations on the Moscow-Kazan and Moscow-Riga lines.
By a resolution of April 7, 1970, the Central Committee of the CPSU of the Presidium of the Supreme Council and the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the brigade was awarded the Lenin Jubilee Certificate of Honor for high performance in combat and political training in honor of the centenary of the birth of V. I. Lenin . Repeatedly for successes in socialist competition, the unit was awarded the transient Red Banner of the Military Council of the Railway Forces .
In the 90s of the compound, work was carried out on the construction of access roads to the October Gravel and Crushed Stone Plant (GSHZ) in the city of Vyshny Volochek on the October Railway and the construction of access roads to an oil refinery in the city of Ryazan, the construction of access roads in the Ryazan Region, residential buildings and interchanges.
In 2001, in connection with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the formation of the Railway Troops of the Russian Federation, the entire brigade was thanked for its great contribution to strengthening the country's defense capabilities.
According to the results of 2001 and 2002. the unit became the winner of the competition for the right to be called the βBest Union of the Railway Troops of the Russian Federationβ. [1] .
Description
The compound is engaged in the construction of railways, access roads, bypasses and hauls , participates in the liquidation of the consequences of natural disasters , reconstructs and rebuilds stations , provides for the electrification of railway lines, builds residential houses and barracks, and equips military camps.
