Vincent Frantsevich Svyatlovsky (Svetlovsky) ( 1796 - November 18, 1842 , Poltava ) - Russian military teacher , director of the Moscow 2nd Cadet and first director of the Petrovsky Poltava Cadet Corps (1840-1842), major general (1840).

Biography
From the noblemen of Berdichevsky district of the Kiev province . Catholic .
Until 1814 - graduate of the Second Cadet Corps .
Issued in artillery with the rank of ensign . In 1818 he was assigned to the Noble Regiment . Later he served in an inspection position. In the years 1818-1819. - Officer of the cadet corps, in 1821-1822. - Staff captain of the Noble Regiment .
Since 1829, with the rank of lieutenant colonel, he was appointed battalion commander to the Second Moscow Cadet Corps . In the history of the Moscow cadet corps there is a characteristic by V.F.Svyatlovsky, which states:
He brought the cause of cadet upbringing a substantial benefit to his pedagogical experience and close acquaintance with the cadet's morals, in which he enjoyed a well-deserved location
Received gratitude from the highest authorities.
Later he was the director of the Moscow 2nd Cadet and Petrovsky Poltava Cadet Corps (1840-1842).
He died in Poltava from throat consumption. He was buried in the old Poltava cemetery.
In his pedagogical activity in the cadet corps, new humane educational views were used for that time.
Family
Wife - Alexandra Semenovna (02.22.1796 - 2.07.1849). Son - Vladimir (01/25/1825 - 12/26/1891), major general, was the director of the School of Military Bandmasters , then the director of the 4th military gymnasium and the head of the Moscow Military School. He published several articles of historical content in Modern Izvestia , Russian Antiquity, and the Russian Archive .
